Young Working On New Album
Neil Young revealed last week that he has started working on a new album.
The singer/songwriter made the announcement while accepting his MusiCares Person of the Year Award.
"I really don't know what to say," he said. "I'm honored so much. I forgot how many songs I've written and I saw so many of them, [but] I just want you to know I'm working on a new album."
"I've already written four or five songs and I don't want to stop," he added. "And I hope to be able to continue for a really long time."
Young earned his first ever Grammy trophy at the 52nd annual Grammy Awards on Feb. 1st. The legendary singer picked up the award for Best Art Direction on a Boxed or Special Limited Edition Package.
His Neil Young Archives Vol. 1 (1963-1972) scored the award, and the honors were shared by art directors Gary Burden and Jenice Heo.
